Detailed Description

The AS-390/SRC is a UHF ground plane antenna for shipboard installations. It consists of a small stubby radiator and an eight-whip ground plane. The AS-390/SRC exhibits a low VSWR of 2:1 or less across its frequency band of 220 to 400 MHz. The antenna radiates an omni-directional, vertically polarized radiation pattern and can easily handle 200 Watts of RF input power.
The AS-390/SRC is a lightweight and rugged antenna designed to withstand the hard environmental conditions aboard ships. This antenna is ideally suited for mounting a top valcom's AS-4163_URC dual UHF antenna. Mounting is accomplished with a 3/4-14 IPS threaded post.
