Detailed Description
Valcom's VAS-3448 dipole antenna is a rugged vertical antenna designed to cover the frequency range of 420-450 MHz. The VAS-3448 is ideally suited for military radio location applications such as with the RT-1343/TSQ-129 receiver/transmitter used int he position location reporting system (PLRS).

The antenna can easily handle 10 Watts continuous RF power and up to 200 Watts peak RF power over the entire frequency range with a VSWR of less than 2.25:1. The RF input connector is an N-TYPE receptacle located at the base of the antenna.
The antenna features a flexible goose neck at the base of the antenna and a fibreglass envelope protecting the radiating elements inside. The VAS-4245 antenna easily and quickly connects directly to the radio equipment or a remote coaxial cable with its integral N-TYPE connector at the base.
