The VAS-40-FB is a UHF fixed base dipole whip antenna designed to provide UHF communications for a range of military applications. It is designed for use with today's cutting edge, wide-band, frequency agile radios. The VAS-450-FB boasts a power handling capability of 200 watts and less then 2.5:1 VSWR across the entire operating band of 225 MHz To 450 MHz.

The VAS-450-FB antenna is constructed using the same revolutionary broad band tuning technology as the VAS-450 vehicular configuration. The antenna is a one piece package that combines a fiberglass whip onto an aluminum mounting base. The whip and base are permanently joined together for a light-weight yet extremely rugged and reliable antenna system.
